Donaire retains belt, Harrison humiliated again

Nonito Donaire retained his WBO Super-Bantamweight belt when he defeated Toshiaki Nishioka, the fight being stopped in the ninth.

The champion, recording his 29th successive victory, improved his professional record to 30-1, with 19 knockouts.

In Liverpool, England, David Price knocked out former Olympic Games champion Audley Harrison in 82 seconds on Saturday night. Another pathetic performance by the former Sydney gold medalist surely must send him into retirement.

It was the sixth professional defeat for the Sydney Olympic Games gold medallist, coming two years after he was knocked out in the second round in Manchester by David Haye.
