Durant among CFL Players of the Week

Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) – Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Darian
Durant was named the CFL’s Offensive Player of the Week after throwing for 270
yards and two touchdowns in Sunday’s win over the British Columbia Lions in
the West Division Semi-Final.

Durant also carried the ball six times for 97 yards in the 29-25 victory,
which set up a meeting with Calgary in the division final.

Hamilton Tiger-Cats linebacker Simoni Lawrence was named Defensive Player of
the Week after collecting seven tackles in a 19-16 overtime win over Montreal
in the East semis.

Roughriders kicker Chris Milo connected on five of six field goals and was
named Special Teams Player of the Week and Lions running back Andrew Harris
rushed for 93 yards on 10 carries to earn Canadian Player of the Week honors.
