Perry, 4 others share lead in San Antonio
San Antonio, TX (SportsNetwork.com) – Kenny Perry managed a 1-under 71 1n the
second round Saturday and he dropped into a 5-way tie for the lead after two
rounds of the AT&T Championship.
Perry, who led by one after the opening round, was joined at 8-under-par 136
by Bernhard Langer (69), Colin Montgomerie (68), Anders Forsbrand (69) and
Mike Goodes (63).
Kirk Triplett (67) and Scott Dunlap (68), who is making his Champions Tour
debut, share sixth place at minus-6.
Fred Funk, the 2006 winner, posted his second straight 69 to end two rounds at
6-under 138. He was joined there by Mark O’Meara (68), Russ Cochran (70) and
Bobby Clampett (68) on the AT&T Canyons Course at TPC San Antonio.
