Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) – Kelly Olynyk led four Gonzaga players in double-figures with 15 points and grabbed six rebounds, as the seventh-ranked Bulldogs crushed Loyola Marymount, 88-43, Thursday at Albert Gersten Pavilion. Gary Bell Jr. also dropped in 15 points on 5-of-7 shooting from three-point range for the Bulldogs (20-2, 7-0 WCC), who have a 7-0 start in conference play for the first time since going undefeated in league play in 2008-09. Sam Dower and Drew Barham scored 13 points apiece, while Barham connected on 4- of-5 from downtown in the victory. Since suffering a heartbreaking 64-63 loss at ninth-ranked Butler on Jan. 19, Gonzaga has beaten its last three opponents, BYU, San Francisco and LMU, by a combined 79 points. Anthony Ireland led Loyola Marymount with 19 points and five 3-pointers for the Lions (8-13, 1-7), who have dropped five straight and seven of their last eight. Ashley Hamilton chipped in nine points in the loss.

Seattle, WA (Sports Network) – Nick Johnson made three key free throws down the stretch to lift the eighth-ranked Arizona Wildcats over the WashingtonHuskies, 57-53, on Thursday. Johnson ended with 15 points, six rebounds and four steals for the Wildcats (18-2, 6-2 Pac-12), who are off to an 18-2 start for the first time since the 2002-03 season. Kaleb Tarczewski, Mark Lyons and Solomon Hill had 10 points apiece for Arizona, which had lost five straight games at Washington. Scott Suggs and C.J. Wilcox each tallied 11 points for the Huskies (12-9, 4-4), who have lost four straight for the first time since 2008. Aziz N’Diaye and Abdul Gaddy added 10 points apiece.

St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) – Jordair Jett came off the bench to score a game-high 19 points to help Saint Louis knock off No. 9 Butler, 75-58, Thursday for a victory over the highest-ranked foe to ever visit Chaifetz Arena. Dwayne Evans netted 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor for the Billikens (15-5, 4-2 A-10), who utilized a 24-4 first-half run and forced 23 turnovers en route to their third straight win. Rob Loe added 12 points, while Mike McCall Jr. donated nine on 3-of-6 shooting from behind the arc in the victory. Rotnei Clarke led Butler with 17 points and Andrew Smith totaled 12 points and six rebounds for the Bulldogs (17-4, 4-2), who dropped their second straight conference road game versus an unranked opponent. Butler dropped a 54-53 decision at La Salle last week.

East Lansing, MI (Sports Network) – Keith Appling scored a game-high 24 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out seven assists, as 13th-ranked Michigan State utilized a big second half to take down Illinois, 80-75 in a Big Ten Conference showdown Thursday at Breslin Center. Gary Harris and Denzel Valentine each netted 14 points for the Spartans (18-4, 7-2 Big Ten), who trailed by 10 points at halftime, but outscored the Illini 53-38 in the second half en route to bouncing back from a loss Sunday at Indiana. Tracy Abrams scored 16 points and dished out six helpers and D.J. Richardson added 14 points for the Fighting Illini (15-7, 2-6), who have lost five of six.
