New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – Jabari Parker poured in 23 points with 10
rebounds to lead No. 8 Duke to an 80-63 win over UCLA on Thursday at Madison
Square Garden. Rodney Hood and Quinn Cook scored 14 points apiece, with Cook
getting a career-high eight steals in the win. Amile Jefferson and Rasheed
Sulaimon contributed 11 and eight points, respectively, off the bench for Duke
(9-2), winners of three straight. The Bruins (9-2) were led by David Wear, who
scored 16 points and went 4-of-4 on 3-pointers. Kyle Anderson nearly had a
triple-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. He also had five
steals in the losing effort. Jordan Adams, UCLA’s leading scorer, finished
with 10 points on just 4-of-10 shooting.
