rebounds as No. 10 Wichita State held off Davidson 81-70 to remain unbeaten on
the season. Ron Baker had just one field goal but shot 12-of-14 from the foul
line for 15 points as the Shockers (13-0) finished their non-conference
slate without a blemish. Wichita State will visit Southern Illinois on
Jan. 2 to kick off Missouri Conference play. Darius Carter netted 13 points
while Tekele Cotton had 10 with a career-high four blocked shots. Tyler
Kalinoski tallied 17 points, six assists and six rebounds in the
setback. Tom Droney scored 12 points and De’Mon Brooks and Jake Belford
finished with 10 apiece for Davidson (4-9), which has lost four in a row.

to lead 12th-ranked Oregon to a 97-76 win over Morgan State at Matthew Knight
Arena. Richard Amardi netted 16 and Damyean Dotson added 15 points for
the Ducks (12-0), who open their Pac-12 schedule at Utah Thursday. Justin
Black had 22 and Anthony Hubbard scored 15 points for Morgan State (3-9),
which has now lost two straight. Ian Chiles contributed with 13 points.

Gainesville, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Patric Young scored a game-high 15
points and eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for his career as No. 13 Florida
slammed Savannah State, 76-34, at O’Connell Center Michael Frazier II scored
11 points while Casey Prather and Scottie Wilbekin each chipped in with 10 as
the Gators (10-2) ran their home winning streak to 22 games by making 49
percent of their shots. Savannah State (2-11) shot a grotesque 25 percent from
the field in losing its ninth straight game. Jyles Smith was the team’s
leading scorer with eight points.
