Anderson joins the 300 club, Taylor leads New Zealand

Ross Taylor gave New Zealand the initiative with a fluent 66 on another tight day of Test cricket that saw the shift in momentum change throughout the day at Lords.

New Zealand dismissed the hosts for 232, Tim Southee leading the way for the visitors with 4/58 and in response finished day two on 153/4, Ross Taylor steadying the ship after a dismal start that saw them reeling on 7/2.

Jimmy Anderson was the pick of the bowlers, finishing the day with 3/32 including his 300th Test wicket.
