Bell drives England to series lead

Ian Bell was the thorn in the side of South Africa as England cruised to victory by six wickets with 20 balls to spare in the fourth NatWest One-Day International against South Africa at Lord’s.

England’s batsmen followed up the great work of bowlers Ravi Bopara, James Tredwell and Steven Finn in restricting South Africa to 220 for eight as they breezed to 224 for four in 46.4 overs, Bell helping himself to 88.
