Cook and Compton lead England fight back

Alastair Cook and Nick Compton led the England fight back in the follow, on as the visitors finished the third day on 111/0, still 219 runs adrift of avoiding an innings defeat. Cook finishing on 74 and Compton on a patient 34. The visitors still have a mountain to climb over the next 2 days if they are to save the Test. A first innings collapse on day 3 saw England being bowled out for a paltry 191, Pragyan Ojha the chief destroyer for India, finishing with 5-45, his fourth five-wicket haul in tests.
