Dhoni gives India the upper hand

Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni led his team to a 135 run first innings lead on day 3 of the first Test against Australia, with a brilliant undefeated double hundred in Chennai.

The hosts finished on 515/8, with India’s captain was in brutal form, facing only 231 balls and hitting 21 fours and five sixes in his 206 not out, his first-ever test double-ton.
