England lost again Down Under when they were defeated by Australian in the first T20 in Hobart.

The spectators certainly got their money’s worth with more than 400 runs scored in 40 overs however it was the visitors that fell short by just 13 runs.

Cameron White led the way for Australia with a swashbuckling 75 off 43 balls and was ably supported by Finch who smashed his way to 52 in their total of 213.

In reply England’s Joe Root scored 32 off 24 balls and opener Alex Hales hit 22 off 12 balls, however some late hitting by Ravi Bopara 65 off 27 balls provided the entertainment factor but not the win.

Australia won the Ashes test series 5-0 and the ODI series 4-1 and now take a 1-0 lead in the 3 match T20 series.

Australia 4 for 213 (White 75, Finch 52) beat England 9 for 200 (Bopara 65*, Coulter-Nile 4-30) by 13 runs
