With the Test series done and dusted, England look for revenge against South Africa as the one day series begins tomorrow.

A 2-0 series win in the 5 day format for the visitors saw South Africa take over as the top ranked nation on the ICC rankings an honour held by England for the last 12 months. The same can happen in the 50 over format as the Proteas hunt for the double.

England have risen to the top of the one-day world rankings on the back of 10 wins in 2012, including a 4-0 series rout of Australia. The hosts also boast a good record at home having not lost since 2009.

South Africa occupy the top 2 spots with both bat and ball in the individual rankings. Hashim Amla holds that place with the bat and will be looking to transfer his superb Test form into the shorter version. Captain AB De Villiers is one of the most explosive shot makers in the game and will be looking to get amongst the runs alongside the world class ability of Jacques Kallis.

Steyn, Morkel, Tsotsobe (who occupies the no. 1 ranking), Parnell and Tahir will provide plenty of firepower and variety to the visiting attack.

England are still coming to terms with the loss of Kevin Pietersen who is a top class player and always performs well against the country of his birth, however in Cook, Trott and Bell they have plenty of experience.

With the ball Steven Finn will be a danger, and with Broad and Anderson the South Africans will be constantly under pressure to keep the run rate going.

2 BET2 brings you all your cricket action.
