Morgan levels the series for England

England and Eoin Morgan left it late. however a six off the last ball of the match by the stand in skipper delivered a series leveling win for the tourists in Mumbai.

India took to the crease first scoring a more than competitive 177 for 7 Dhoni top scoring with 38 off 18 balls, and Suresh Raina finished not out on 35. The pair got together when India was in trouble on 108 for five, and added 60 runs in four overs to boosts the total. Virat Kohli contributed 38 at the start of the innings. Jade Derbach and Luke Wright took 2-37 and 2-38 respectively.

In response Lumb gave England a superb start, reaching his maiden T20 fifty off 30 balls before he fell to the ever present Yuvraj. He then struck twice more, removing Luke Wright for five, and Alex Hales for 42 putting India in charge, and put a brake on the scoring tempo.

With five overs to go, England still needed 51 runs and it was up to Morgan who finished with 49 off only 26 deliveries and Josh Buttler 15 not out off 7 to take England home.

Man-of-the-Series, Yuvraj, finished with his best T20 bowling figures of 3-17 off four overs.

The tour now takes a break over the festive season, and will enter the 50-over stage with the first of five internationals in Rajkot on January 11.
