Windies humiliated by Starc

Australia led by pace ace Mitchell Starc, demolished the Windies batting order on the way to registering a comprehensive 9 wicket win in the first one day international at the WACA.

Starc ripped through the West Indies attack with 5/20, while Clint McKay chipped in with a return of 3/10, to dismiss the tourists for a mere 70, their third lowest total ever. In response Australia surpassed the Windies total with barely 10 overs on the board, Glenn Maxwell scoring a quick fire 51.

The second match begins on Sunday at the same venue.
