Chamberlain sends Gunners top, Liverpool drop points
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored twice for the Gunners on Sunday to send Arsenal back to the top of the Premiership table following a 2-0 victory over London rivals Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium.
The result sees the Gunners leap back to the top of the table with 55 points, two clear of Manchester City, while Palace remain in 16th place on 23 points, one clear of the relegation zone.
In other action Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns.
The result leaves Liverpool in fourth place in the Premiership, two clear of Everton, while West Brom lifts itself out of the drop zone with 23 points.
