Magnussen sends McLaren to the top on day 3
Formula 1 new boy Kevin Magnussen continued Mclaren’s promising start to preseason testing when he topped the times on day 3 in Jerez.
Team mate Jenson Button went quickest yesterday and it looked like he was going to get the same result today after 40 laps until Magnussen took over and delivered McLaren another useful day. Button and Magnussen completed 92 laps, just the sort of preparation they would have wanted.
Felippe Massa got into the act with his new tem Williams coming home second quickest followed by Lewis Hamilton who completed 60 laps and Jenson Button.
Red Bull continued to struggle with only 3 laps under their belt for the day.
