Double World Champion Sebastian Vettel made it 4 wins from 4 in India, coming home 10 seconds clear of championship rival Fernando Alonso, with team mate Mark Webber completing the podium, and another exceptional day for Red Bull.

It has been an unbelievable turnaround in fortunes for Red Bull. After the first 7 races of the season, Formula 1 delivered 7 different race winners, Vettel and Webber churning up 1 each. This was followed up by a period of mid season domination by McLaren, only to see the momentum shift again to Vettel and Red Bull over the last 4 rounds. Vettel in particular has been brilliant. The German superstar has won 4 on the trot, or should one say at a canter. He now has 5 for the season and 26 in all, extending his lead in the Championship to 13 points over Alonso.

For the Ferrari driving Spaniard, also gunning for his own piece of history this season, a third World Championship, it was very much damage limitation with his second place, with some encouraging signs one might add.
Buddha International is the second quickest circuit on the calender after Monza. Ferrari for much of the season had struggled for straight line speed, however signs in India suggest that changes brought to the car might have addressed this problem.
Mark Webber coming home in third, secured more valuable points for the constructors aspirations of Christian Horner and his team, but the Australian had to fend off a strong late challenge from Lewis Hamilton of McLaren who finished fourth ahead of his teammate and fellow Briton Jenson Button.
Felipe Massa came home sixth in the second Ferrari ahead of Kimi Raikkonen of Lotus, Nico Hulkenberg of Force India, Romain Grosjean in the second Lotus and 10th placed Bruno Senna of Williams.
