Levrkusen and Dormund drop points

Bayer Leverkusen fell 10 points behind Bundesliga table toppers Bayern Munich when they suffered a third straight loss while Borussia Dortmund only managed a draw.

Leverkusen fell at Freiburg 3-2 while Dortmund spurned a tremendous opportunity to take advantage of Leverkusen’s defeat as Jurgen Klopp’s side was held to a 2-2 home draw by Augsburg.

Other action in Germany saw Nurnburg claimed its first Bundesliga win of the season by getting a resounding 4-0 victory over Hoffenheim,
Mainz managed a 2-1 win at Stuttgart, Leonardo Bittencourt produced a brace in Hannover’s 3-1 victory at Wolfsburg and Alexander Meier scored the lone goal in Eintracht’s 1-0 defeat of Hertha Berlin.
