Oosthuizen storms ahead at the WGC

Former Open Champion Louis Oosthuizen shot a blistering second round 63, to seize the initiative at the half way stage of the WGC Championships in China. “King Louis” sits top of the leader board on 16 under par, 5 shots clear of current Open Champion Ernie Els and Aussie Adam Scott.

Four time Major winner Els, also shot a superb 63, one of the best rounds of the year for “the Big Easy.” Australian Adam Scott, shot a 68, keeping him in the hunt coming into the weekend, while Jason Dufner, double winner Mickelson and Johnson’s American Ryder Cup teammate, shot 66 to share fourth spot with Ireland’s Shane Lowry, who had 68.

Also chasing down the leaders coming into the weekend, is Luke Donald on 8 under, with Lee Westwood and Ian Poulter still within touching distance on 7 under.
