Former world number one Vijay Singh rolled back the clock with a six-under 66 on Friday to grab the second round lead at the BMW Championship, while Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy were a further shot back.

A triple major winner who will turn 50 in February, Singh has won just about everything there is to win in golf including the 2008 FedExCup and the $10 million bonus.

Woods and McIlroy remained the main focus for the galleries as both shot rounds of 67 and 68 respectively to keep the heat on the leaders.
