Florence, Italy (Sports Network) – Massimo Gobbi scored in stoppage time to
help Parma earn a 2-2 draw at Fiorentina on Monday.

The Viola came from a goal down at halftime to take a 2-1 lead with 12 minutes
to play thanks to goals from Gonzalo Rodriguez and Juan Vargas.

But Gobbi struck two minutes into added time to earn his side its third draw
in six games.

Walter Gargano put Parma in front on the stroke of halftime when his shot from
12 yards took a slight deflection on its way into the net following Mattia
Cassani’s pass.

Fiorentina pressed for the equalizer after the break and the team was rewarded
in the 64th when Rodriguez got up to head home Borja Valero’s cross.

Vargas fired Fiorentina into the lead 12 minutes from time with a well-placed
shot inside the far post, but Gobbi had the final word as he headed home
Jonathan Biabiany’s cross to level the contest.
