Federer, Djokovic and Murray roll on
Former Miami Masters champions Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Andy Murray all advanced into the third round of the Sony Open.
2009 winner and defending Champion Andy Murray, came from behind to beat Matthew Ebden, 3/6, 6/0, 6/1 while last weeks winner at Indian Wells Novak Djokovic eased past Jeremy Chardy, 6/4, 6/3. The Serbian is gunning for a ht-trick of wins in Miami.
Roger Federer has shown a return to form in 2014 after reaching the final in Brisbane and Indian Wells, with a win at the Dubai Duty Free announcing that he is approaching his best form under the guidance of Stefan Edberg. The Swiss began his quest for a third title in Miami with a comfortable, 6/4, 7/6 win over giant Croat Ivo Karlovic.
In other action, David Ferrer, Jo-Wilfred Tsonga, Richard Gasquet and Grigor Dimitrov were some of the big names advancing through to the next round.
