Chicago, IL (Sports Network) – Miguel Cabrera hit a three-run homer and Omar

Chicago White Sox, 6-4, to avoid a three-game sweep at U.S. Cellular Field.

Rick Porcello (9-6) earned the win after giving up three runs on 11 hits over
six innings. Joaquin Benoit needed 27 pitches to navigate through a rocky
ninth inning, but stranded a pair of runners in scoring position to notch his
15th save.

Gordon Beckham went 3-for-4 with an RBI while Avisail Garcia and Jeff
Keppinger added two hits and an RBI each for the White Sox, who went 3-for-15
with runners in scoring position and left 15 men on base.

earned — on nine hits over 7 1/3 innings.
