Nats recall Solano, Cedeno

Kansas City, MO (Sports Network) – The Washington Nationals have recalled
catcher Jhonatan Solano and pitcher Xavier Cedeno from Triple-A Syracuse.

Solano hit .167 with two RBI in 16 games this season for Washington. The 28-
year-old has played in 40 games at Syracuse, compiling a .214 average with 10
RBI.

Cedeno has appeared in 36 games this season for Syracuse. The left-hander has
a 2-0 record with an earned run average of 1.47 and four saves. He has only
pitched in two games for the Nationals this season.
