Reds’ Broxton returns from DL

Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) – The Cincinnati Reds activated reliever
Jonathan Broxton from the 15-day disabled list on Wednesday.

Broxton landed on the DL in mid-June with a flexor mass strain in his right
elbow. Prior to the injury, he had a 2-2 record with a 4.33 ERA in 29
appearances.

The Reds optioned pitcher Pedro Villarreal to Triple-A Louisville to clear a
roster spot.
