Denver, CO (SportsNetwork.com) – The Colorado Rockies signed pitcher Boone
Logan to a three-year contract on Monday.

Logan was an integral part of the New York Yankees’ bullpen the past three
years, appearing in 205 games. Last season the 29-year-old southpaw went 5-2
with a 3.23 ERA and held left-handers to a .221 average in 77 at-bats.

Over eight seasons with the Chicago White Sox, Atlanta Braves and Yankees,
Logan owns a 24-12 record with a 4.39 ERA in 420 games, all in relief.

To make room for Boone on the roster, the Rockies designated pitcher Collin
McHugh for assignment.

McHugh, 26, owns a career 0-8 record with an 8.94 ERA in 15 games (nine
starts) over two seasons with the Mets and Rockies.
