Lorenzo cruises to Mugello win

Updated: June 2, 2013

Double world champion Jorge Lorenzo ended the early season Honda domination by cruising to another win in Mugello.

The Spaniard spent most of the race looking over his shoulder as the 2 Honda’s of Marquez and Pedrosa lurked, however some quick laps sent him 5 seconds clear of Pedrosa who finished second after Marquez crashed out with 3 laps to go while Cal Crutchlow completed the podium in an impressive performance.

Bradl edged the Ducatis to fourth, finishing ahead of Dovizioso and Hayden while Ducati test Team rider Michele Pirro was eighth.
