Jorge Lorenzo clinched pole position for the Aragon MotoGP, beating title rival Dani Pedrosa who was quickest in practice.

Spies, Bradl and Dovizioso will make up the second row ahead of Jonathan Rea, who is filling in for the injured Casey Stoner, Rossi and Nicky Hayden. The latter, though, crashed late in the session and was seen cradling his injured hand.
