Updated: February 5, 2014

Moto GP World Champion Marc Marquez continued his blistering form from last season at preseason testing in Sepang as he dominated the the rest of the field on the opening two days.

Marquez scorched around Sepang on Tuesday ahead of Rossi and Pedrosa with Lorenzo in fourth.

The Spaniard who last season became the youngest Moto GP World Champion then followed up his day 1 perfromance with an even more dominant display as he became the first rider to break the 2 minute barrier ahead of Honda team mate and compatriot Dani Pedrosa with Sefan Badl on his LCR Honda coming home a surprising third ahead of the Yamaha duo of Rossi and Lorenzo who was 6th.

Marquez who expressed similar pace in testing last season won the championship in his debut season and on this evidence it looks like he will be hard to stop again this season.
