Pedrosa takes Valencia pole

Dani Pedrosa put his Australian disappointment behind him to beat 2012 Champ Jorge Lorenzo to pole position with a new lap record at the season finale in Valencia. It was the Spaniards 5th pole of the season.

New world champion Lorenzo came home in second while Stoner in his last race qualified third. Pedrosa is going for his 6th win overall in Valencia, with Stoner hoping to sign out of the sport with his third win at the Spanish circuit.
