Fischer rallies to win Q School

La Quinta, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – Zack Fischer closed with an 8-under 64 on
Tuesday and rallied to win the Web.com Tour Qualifying Tournament.

Fischer ended the 6-round marathon at 31-under-par 401. He will be a rookie on
the Web.com Tour in 2014 and is fully exempt for the full season.

Scott Pinckney, who led after the fourth and fifth rounds, carded a 4-under 68
on Tuesday and ended alone in second place at minus-29.

Steve Saunders and Sung Joon Park both posted 5-under 67s and were joined in
third place at 25-under 407 by Tony Finau (68).

Bronson Burgoon (66), Max Homa (66) and Jimmy Gunn (71) shared sixth place at
minus-23.

Thirty of the top 31 players on the leaderboard played the Jack Nicklaus
Course at PGA West in the final round. The other player competed on the TPC
Stadium Course at PGA West. The field played three rounds on each course for
the tournament.

The players the finishes second through tied for 11th will be exempted through
the first two reshuffles (12 events) next year, while those that ended between
14th and tied for 42nd will be exempted through the first reshuffle (eight
events).
