Cleveland, OH (SportsNetwork.com) – The Cleveland Cavaliers have suspended
center Andrew Bynum indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team.

Bynum did not travel with the Cavaliers to Boston for Saturday’s game against
the Celtics and has been excused from all team activities indefinitely.

The 26-year-old Bynum has averaged 8.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in
24 games this season, his first with the Cavaliers.

Bynum missed the entire 2012-13 season due to balky knees. The Philadelphia
76ers acquired him from the Los Angeles Lakers last August.

He had arthroscopic surgery on both knees in March and signed a two-year deal
worth close to $25 million with Cleveland in July. Only $6 million of that is
guaranteed though, as the Cavaliers can waive Bynum before Jan. 7 and relieve
themselves of the remainder.
