Orlando, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Rookie Trey Burke filled the stat sheet with
30 points, eight assists and seven rebounds to lead the Utah Jazz past the
Orlando Magic, 86-82, at Amway Center.
Burke played 40-plus minutes and only committed two turnovers for a Jazz team
that had 16 overall. Gordon Hayward chipped in with 15 points, including the
game-sealing free throws after Jameer Nelson missed a runner in the lane over
Derrick Favors, who totaled 14 points and 11 rebounds in the win.
Utah improved to 1-1 on its five-game road trip, while the Magic fell for the
third time in the last four games.
Tobias Harris and Nikola Vucevic each had double-doubles for Orlando, which
received a team-high 17 points from Nelson.
