Raptors take down Mavericks in overtime

Dallas, TX (SportsNetwork.com) – DeMar DeRozan’s jumper with 1:11 left in
overtime proved to be the difference as the Toronto Raptors edged the Dallas
Mavericks, 109-108, on Friday.

DeRozan finished with 15 points, five rebounds and seven assists.

Kyle Lowry scored a team-high 20 points, Jonas Valanciunas added 18 with 13
rebounds while Terrence Ross and Amir Johnson finished with 15 points apiece
for the Raptors, who have won three of their last four.

Jose Calderon, who was traded from Toronto to Detroit last season, poured in a
game-high 23 points against his former club. We was 8-for-13 from the field
and a blistering 7-for-10 from beyond the arc. His seven 3’s tied a career
high.

Dirk Nowitzki added 22 points and Monta Ellis finished with 21 points and 11
assists for the Mavericks, who had won five of seven entering the contest.
