Brees and Robinson lead the Saints to victory over the Eagles

Drew Brees threw for 2 touchdowns while Patrick Robinson intercepted and ran for 99 yards to score his own, as New Orleans beat Philadelphia 28-13, on NFL Monday Night Football.

Brees oozed class has he threw a touchdown for the 51st consecutive game, keeping his NFl record going. It was a much improved performance by the Saints, following the last game against Denver when they lost 34-14. The Saints fans will hope that this is the turning point in the season for them.

The Eagles on the other hand are in free fall with a fourth consecutive loss, however they will look back at last night and know they blew their chances. On 4 occasions they had first and goal, however only managed to secure 2 field goals from that position, something coach Andy Reid will have to look at if they are to turn their season around.

The win for the Saints has come just at the right time, this Sunday they host the unbeaten Falcons, while for the Eagles their losing run could be extended when they take on Dallas.
