Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – The season is officially over for running
back Doug Martin, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed him on injured reserve
Friday.

The move comes almost three weeks after he was diagnosed with a labrum tear
in his left shoulder. Martin sustained the injury during the third quarter of
a 31-23 loss at Atlanta and he has not played since.

Martin finishes the 2013 season having compiled 456 yards and one touchdown on
127 carries over six games.

The Boise State product put together an outstanding rookie campaign in 2012,
compiling 1,454 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns while gaining an additional
472 yards on 49 catches.

Tampa also announced that linebacker Ka’lial Glaud has been promoted to the
active roster from the practice squad.
