Bucs RB James carted off field

Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Mike James
left Monday night’s game against the Miami Dolphins in the first quarter with
a left ankle injury.

James carried the ball five times for 41 yards on the opening possession. On
the play he was injured, James rushed up the middle for three yards down to
the Miami 1-yard line. Dolphins linebacker Dannell Ellerbe tackled James from
behind and appeared to land on James’ ankle.

James was taken to the locker room on a cart. The team said he will miss the
remainder of the game.

With Doug Martin on injured reserve, Brian Leonard and Bobby Rainey are the
only healthy running backs on the Tampa Bay roster.
