Denver, CO (Sports Network) – Ryan Lindley threw two touchdown passes in the
Arizona Cardinals’ 32-24 win over the Denver Broncos in the preseason finale
for both teams.

Lindley was 17-of-29 for 214 yards for Arizona, which finished the preseason
3-1 and will travel to St. Louis to take on the Rams in Week 1. Rookie Stepfan
Taylor carried the ball 11 times for 52 yards in the triumph.

Gerell Robinson caught five passes for 99 yards and a score for Denver, which
went 2-2 during the preseason and open the season next Thursday against the
Baltimore Ravens.

After Jacob Hester’s 7-yard TD run late in the third gave Denver a 24-17 lead,
Lindley found Mike Thomas for a 13-yard score with 5:28 remaining. Lindley
then hit Andre Ellington for the go-ahead two-point conversion to make it
25-24. Taylor’s 15-yard TD sprint with 1:05 left capped the scoring.

Earlier, Jeremiah Johnson’s 9-yard TD run and Matt Prater’s 27-yard field goal
in the opening frame staked the Broncos a 10-0 lead before the Cardinals tied
it at the half following a Ryan Williams 1-yard score and Jay Feely’s 52-yard
field goal late in the frame.

Robinson hauled in a 25-yard score from Zac Dysert before Lindley hit Jaron
Brown for a 55-yard score on Arizona’s ensuing possession midway through the
third to make it 17-17.
