Dolphins extend Misi through 2017

Davie, FL (Sports Network) – The Miami Dolphins have extended the contract of
linebacker Koa Misi through the 2017 season.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Misi is entering his fourth NFL season and last year started each of the 14
games he played, finishing with 65 tackles and 3 1/2 sacks.

The 26-year-old Utah product was selected by the Dolphins in the second round
of the 2010 draft. He has 140 tackles, including 105 solo, with nine sacks in
42 career games, including 34 starts.
