Eagles lose 7 straight

Andy Reid has done some great things at the helm of the Eagles over the last 13 years, however after a seventh straight defeat, this time at the hands of the struggling Panthers, sure drastic measure must be taken to bring in a new coach. The Eagles should be declared a disaster zone, the last time they lost 7 straight was all the way back in 1994.

Last night in a battle of the basement teams, the Panthers came out on top 30-22, Cam Newton passing for two touchdowns and running in two more.

Newton finished the game 18-for-28 with 306 yards through the air and added 52 yards on 14 carries for the Panthers (3-8), who snapped a two-game slide but still sit at the bottom of the NFC South, two games back of New Orleans.

Steve Smith had four catches for 60 yards and became the 27th player all-time in the NFL to go over 11,000 receiving yards for his career. Gary Barnidge and Brandon LaFell had first-quarter touchdown catches in the win.

Next up for the Eagles, the Cowboys. It is difficult to see them coming out of that with anything other than an 8th loss.
