The Joe Flacco and Torey Smith show continued last night in front of their home fans with another top performance by the AFC North leaders.

Flacco and Smith inspired the Ravens again in a performance that underlined their challenge for the coveted Super Bowl title. Much must be said of Smith, who has over the last week endured personal tragedy, and responded with 3 touch downs in emotional fashion.

Joe Flacco however steals the headlines with a string off impressive performances that have guided the Ravens to some noticeable streaks. It is Baltimore’s 13th straight home win and are now 18-1 at home since the beginning of 2010, the M&T Bank Stadium becoming a bit of a fortress for the home team. Last nights win was also the 8th straight against the Browns.

Recent success has much to do with the performances of Flacco, especially this season. In all 4 games played so far the mercurial quarterback has now surpasses 350 yards passing, last night for 356 and scoring a touchdown. So far this season he has passed 1269 yards, remarkable if you consider he had only surpassed 350 yards on 2 occasions previously in his career. Adding to this last nights win has given Flacco a 30-5 win/loss record in home games since his rookie year in 2008.

Based on last nights win and some constantly outstanding performances by their playmaker, much will be expected for the remainder of the season by the home fans.
