The Giants kept it together to remain top of the NFC East, with a hard fought 27-23 win over Washington, Eli Manning pulling the strings with 337 yards, giving them a 3 game winning streak for the defending champions. Morris and Griffin did their bit for the Redskins, rushing for 120 and 89 yards respectively, however the loss leaves them bottom of the NFC East.

New England, and in particular Gostkowski, held his nerve with a 48 yard field goal to give the Patriots a 29-26 over time win over the Jets. It was a big win for New England as they stand top of the AFC East.

Tennessee and the Bills went to the wire, the Titans eventually winning 35-34. Fitzpatrick’s heroics weren’t enough to give the home side the win, as he threw for 225 yards and 3 touch downs. Chris Johnson was the difference in the end for the Titans, as he put in a big game performance, rushing for 195 yards and 2 touchdowns.

There were also some tight wins for Dallas, Indianapolis and Chicago, over Carolina, Cleveland and Detroit, the Bears win putting them top of the NFC North.

The Steelers registered a much needed away win against Cincinnati, 24-17, Roethlisberger and Dwyer providing the foundation for the win.

Houston put their first loss of the season behind them with a comprehensive win over Baltimore, Schaub orchestrating the win for the Texans with 256 yards and 2 touchdowns and Adrian Foster carrying for 98 yards and scoring twice. The Texans now sit comfortable at the top if the AFC West with 6-1.
