Gonzalez questionable for Falcons-Saints tilt

Updated: November 20, 2013

Flowery Branch, GA (SportsNetwork.com) – Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony
Gonzalez returned to practice on Wednesday, though the team has declared the
veteran questionable for its midweek matchup with the New Orleans Saints.

Gonzalez was listed as a limited participant as he continues to deal with an
injury to his left toe. The 37-year-old also was termed questionable for this
past Sunday’s contest at Tampa Bay, but managed to play and record seven
catches totaling 63 yards in Atlanta’s 41-28 loss.

The 13-time Pro Bowl selection has missed just two games in his outstanding
13-year career, the last of which took place in 2006.

Defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux (tricep) and backup quarterback Dominique
Davis (knee) also are questionable for Thursday’s clash, though both practiced
on a limited basis throughout the short week.

Running back Jacquizz Rodgers (ankle), linebacker Paul Worrilow (shoulder),
offensive tackle Jeremy Trueblood (knee/hip) and defensive tackle Peria Jerry
(shoulder) all are probable to face the Saints.
