Manning proves he still has it as he leads Broncos to win

Peyton Manning proved he still has it as he lead Denver to an opening win against Pittsburgh 31-19. Manning contributed with 253 yards including 2 touch downs. The Broncos had to come from behind in the 4th quartert scoring 17 unanswered points, including 2 touchdowns.

In the days other games there were wins for Philadelphia over Cleveland in a tight fought contest 17-16, New Engalnd, Atlanta, Minnesota and Washington also came out on top against Tennessee, Kansas City, Jacksonville and New Orleans respectively.

Sanchez was in top form for the Jets as he threw for 266 yards and 3 TD in their 48-28 win against the Bills.

In another high scoring game Detroit came out on top against the Rams 27-23, 14 points in the last quarter securing the win for the Lions.

Houston, San Francisco, Arizona, Tampa and Denver also came through their opening games with wins.
