Dallas are the next team to see if they can inflict a first defeat on Atlanta this season, in one of the big games of NFL Sunday week 9. Also on the agenda tomorrow, 2 form teams Pittsburgh and the Giants clash in New York, Houston host Buffalo, and Peyton Manning takes his Denver team to Cincinnati.

Dallas will still be thinking about last weeks loss to the Giants and what might have been. This week they are in action against the unbeaten Falcons, who sit top of the NFC South,  a win for the Cowboys will move them into second in the NFC East. The stats don’t look good for the visitors, as they have seven straight defeats on Sunday night games. They also face a Falcons team boasting Matt Ryan, who has a 29-4 record starting at home, second only to New England’s Tom Brady. Ryan has been instrumental in the winning run this season with 2018 yards and 17 touch downs, surely a big focus for the Dallas defence.

Joe Flacco and Torrey Smith will be looking to get back to winning ways, when Baltimore travel to Cleveland, in a top versus bottom AFC North clash. Baltimore should be well rested following their week off, a win will see them go 6-2.

Contrasting fortunes at present for Arizona who go to Green Bay. The Packers have got a decent run going, a win tomorrow will extend that to four games unbeaten. Arizona on the other hand started the season with 4-0, only to see them match that on the losing side over the last 4 games, most recently a thrashing at the hands of San Francisco in the desert.

NFC North leaders Chicago, are running hot at the moment having won their last 5 games. The Titans on 3-5, host the Bears and will be looking to nullify the threat of Cutler, Marshall and Forte.

Peyton Manning has led Denver to the top of the AFC West and a run of 2 unbeaten. A difficult trip to Cincinnati lays in wait this weekend, Miami visit the Colts, Carolina are at Washington, while Tampa look for a second win at Oakland.

In another eye catching game this weekend, it’s a clash of 2 form teams, with 2 form quarterbacks. The Giants are at home to Pittsburgh, and expect the home team to deliver a passionate performance to their devastated fans, much like the Knicks did last night against the Heat. Eli Manning for the Giants, and Ben Roethlisberger for the Steelers, will pull the strings on game day Sunday, with the balance of the game surely down to the performance of these 2 stars.
