(Sports Network) – New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and Buffalo
Bills safety Jarius Byrd are listed as doubtful for Sunday’s regular season
opener.

Gronkowski was a limited participant at practice this week as he tries to work
his way back from multiple offseason surgeries on his forearm and back.

Byrd, who signed his one-year tender with the Bills on Aug. 20, has been
limited by a foot injury at practice.

Patriots wideout Danny Amendola was hampered by a groin injury this week, but
was a full participant in practice Friday and is listed as probable.
