Week 9 of the NFL kicks off tonight with Kansas City making the trip to the Qualcomm Stadium to face San Diego, in what should be a highly charged AFC West clash.

The Chiefs are firmly rooted to the bottom with a 1-6 record, and a four match losing streak they are going to want to overturn. San Diego of late, haven’t performed after beginning the season well, and will looking to turn around a three game losing streak themselves, despite this they still hold onto second in the AFC West.

Much will depend on the arm of Charges quarterback, Rivers, who has performed well this season in patches. Overall he has completed 157 passes with 10 touchdowns and 1646 yards, a big performance from him will be expected from the home fans tonight.

For Kansas, Jamaal Charles will need to find the holes in the Charges defence if they are to come away with the win. Charles has been one of the few successes for the Chiefs this season with 595 yards, his contribution tonight will be a telling factor.
