Berea, OH (SportsNetwork.com) – Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden
was diagnosed with a concussion following Sunday’s 32-28 loss to the
Jacksonville Jaguars and was sent home Monday.

Weeden was starting in place of Jason Campbell, who suffered a concussion a
week earlier in a 27-11 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Campbell has been
cleared for football activity, but not for practice yet.

If neither Campbell or Weeden can play next week, the Browns may be forced to
start Alex Tanney against the Patriots. Tanney was just signed last week off
the Cowboys’ practice squad.

Weeden completed 24-of-40 passes for 370 yards with three touchdowns and two
interceptions in Sunday’s loss to the Jaguars.
