Blues deal Kings fifth straight loss

St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) – T.J. Oshie scored two goals, Brian Elliott
made 30 saves and the St. Louis Blues extended the woes of the slumping Los
Angeles Kings with a 5-0 thrashing at Scot trade Center.

Brenden Morrow had a goal and one assist for the Blues, who won their fourth
game in a row. Elliott recorded his third shutout of the season in the 100th
win for Ken Hitchcock as St. Louis’ head coach.

Martin Jones got the start between the pipes for Los Angeles, but was pulled
in the second period after allowing two goals on 14 shots. Ben Scrivens
stopped only nine shots in relief as the Kings lost their fifth consecutive
game, all in regulation.
