Cammalleri’s hat trick helps Flames down Stars

Mike Cammalleri notched his fifth career hat
trick and added an assist as a big first period helped Calgary take a 7-4 win
over Dallas on Wednesday.

Roman Cervenka had a goal and an assist while Jay Bouwmeester, Curtis
Glencross and Jiri Hudler all scored for the Flames, who snapped a two-game
slide. Leland Irving gave up four goals on 34 shots in the win.

Brenden Morrow tallied two goals with Cody Eakin and Eric Nystrom also
lighting the lamp for the Stars, who had a four-game winning streak stopped.
Richard Bachman gave up six goals on 22 shots in the loss.
